Guardians of Yerushalayim

 Upon your walls, O Yerushalayim I have posted Guardians; all the day and all the night... (Yeshaya 62:6)

Chazal tell us that the “Guardians of Yerushalayim” referred to in this pasuk are the exiled nation of Klal Yisroel. As they watch and wait, constantly hoping for the rebuilding of Yerushalayim, they mention Yerushalayim daily and nightly in their Tefillos and Brachos (Radak, ibid.)

During the month of Av let us strengthen ourselves and concentrate fully during davening so that we properly fulfill our roles as:
